In short
We keep what you give us when you call, text or book, and we use it to repair your appliance. We don’t sell it, and we never share your mobile number for anyone’s marketing.
Who we are
Beaver Appliance (formerly The Fridge Repair in South Florida) is a trade name of ASPANN LLC, an appliance repair business. In this policy, “we” means ASPANN LLC, doing business as Beaver Appliance. Questions about it go to (754) 285-8880, by call or text.
What we collect
- When you call or text us: your phone number, what you tell us, and any photos you send, such as the model sticker.
- When we visit: notes on the appliance, the fault and the work we did, for the repair and its warranty.
- When you use the chat: your name, phone number, date of birth (the chat asks for it to confirm you are an adult) and what you write, which reach us through LeadConnector, the customer messaging service we use.
- On this website: what any web host records, plus what the chat window needs. The site has no analytics, no advertising tags and sets no cookies of its own. Our host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to run and protect the site. The chat window loads on every page from LeadConnector, which sees your IP address and the page you are on, may keep a visitor identifier and a record of your visits in your browser’s storage, and loads its typefaces from an outside font service. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes what it stored.
How we use it
- To give you a time, find the fault, put the price in writing and do the repair you approve.
- To text or email you about your appointment and repair (texts as our SMS terms describe).
- To text you occasional offers and service reminders, only if you ticked the offers box in our chat.
- To stand behind the written warranty and answer questions about the repair later.
- To keep the business and tax records the law asks of us.
Who else sees it
We don’t sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the services that help us run the business, such as our phone and text providers, our customer records and chat service (LeadConnector) and our website host, and only so they can do that work for us. We also share it when the law requires.
None of this sharing includes text message opt-in data or consent: those are never shared with any third party. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How long we keep it
As long as we need it for your repair and its warranty, and for the records a business must keep.
Your choices
Call or text (754) 285-8880 to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. We may have to keep some of it for tax or legal records. To stop texts, reply STOP to any text from us.
Other websites
Our pages link to other sites, such as manufacturers’ support pages. Those sites follow their own privacy policies.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
