Do you repair appliances in Spring Hill?
Yes. On any street with a Spring Hill address: the Hernando side, the Pasco side around Shady Hills, and Timber Pines.
What we fix in Spring Hill
Refrigerator repair in Spring Hill
Freezers and ice makers too. At least four homes in ten on the Pasco side have their own well, and Sub-Zero says well water may need a pressure booster or regulator for some of its ice makers.
Washer repair in Spring Hill
Most Spring Hill homes are on a septic tank, and the EPA’s tip for septic is to spread washer loads over the week instead of one big laundry day.
Dryer repair in Spring Hill
A dryer that runs but stays cold, needs a second cycle to dry a load, or has started to squeal or thump.
Dishwasher repair in Spring Hill
A dishwasher that won’t start, won’t drain, stops partway through a cycle or leaves a puddle by the door.
Oven, range and cooktop repair in Spring Hill
Electric ranges, wall ovens and cooktops: a burner that stays cold, an oven that won’t hold its heat, controls that don’t respond.
Dryer vent cleaning in Spring Hill
Most Spring Hill homes are houses, so the dryer duct usually serves one home, not a shared riser. We clean its full run and check the airflow before and after.
Laid out as one subdivision
Spring Hill began in the late 1960s as one Deltona subdivision, where each new home came with a lot of 10,000 square feet. It still shows: about three house lots in ten here measure close to that, against about one in twenty for New Port Richey addresses.

Houses, not mobile homes
Nearly nine in ten homes are detached houses, built mostly from the eighties to the 2000s, and only about three in a hundred are mobile homes.
County water, then septic
Almost every home on the Hernando side gets its water from Hernando County Utilities, but about two in three are on a septic tank, not a sewer line.
Lived in all year
Only about one home in fifty is held for the season, against about one in six in Hudson, just to the south-west.

Spring Hill counted about 114,000 people at the 2020 Census, nearly six in ten of everyone in Hernando County, and it still isn’t a city: in 1986 its residents voted three to one against incorporating.

The west side
Out to Timber Pines
Timber Pines, a homeowners association of about 3,450 homes and villas founded in 1982, is a Census place of its own, though its mail says Spring Hill.
Septic. Just under half of the homes on this side.
-
Central Spring Hill
Off Mariner Boulevard
Of the 32,600 lots Deltona first platted for Spring Hill, about 25,000 had houses on them by 1992.
Septic. More than eight homes in ten, the most of any part of Spring Hill.
-
The east side
Toward the Suncoast Parkway
The quickest way in runs up the Suncoast Parkway and along Spring Hill Drive.
Septic. About two homes in three.
-
Over the Pasco line
South, around Shady Hills
About one home in nine with a Spring Hill address is in Pasco, where the typical lot is about an acre and about four homes in ten are mobile homes.
Wells. At least four homes in ten have a private well, and about eight in ten a septic tank.
Questions from Spring Hill
A question about your community? Call (813) 513-1699 Or send a text
Is Spring Hill in Hernando County or in Pasco?
Both. The Census counts Spring Hill as a Hernando County place, yet the Spring Hill mailing name carries on south into Pasco. Either side of the line, we come out.
My address says Brooksville, but I live in Spring Hill. Do you come out?
Yes. About a fifth of the land in the Spring Hill Census area lies in a ZIP area whose homes carry Brooksville addresses. Book with the address the post office uses.
We live in Timber Pines. Can you get in?
Yes. Timber Pines carries Spring Hill addresses, and we come out there. If your community has a gate, tell us how guests get in when you book.
Is Spring Hill’s water hard?
Hernando County Utilities draws its water from deep wells in the Floridan aquifer and treats it with chlorine alone. Its yearly water quality reports give no hardness figure, so we can’t quote one.
Do you go on to Hudson or New Port Richey?
New Port Richey, yes: it has a page of its own, down the Gulf side to the south-west. Hudson isn’t on our town list, so call or text and ask.
